for everyone
Yesterday was a wet day. I wanted to get out on the bike in the morning because I knew I would be busy that night. The weather was bi-polar, as usual. It shined, and rained, and shined some more...

I think I managed to catch the worst of the rain and gusting wind in the middle of my ride. The rain, when it really got going, soaked me from head to toe in a matter of seconds. I felt the water seeping through to my back, my legs, my scalp. Chilling my muscles in the wind. The gusts brought me to a near stand-still when they came head-on, and when they were side-on I could see the rain cutting through the air at a shallow angle, as if I were in a cartoon.

Rain rain go away
Let the sun come out to play
  Warm my tired legs

The weather was more agreeable on Tuesday. Here's a photo I snapped on the back roads near Ipsden and Checkendon:

A lone flower jostles in the breeze amongst endless green fields.

dude, that photo is incredible. any chance of a desktop-size (1280x1024 or similar) version?

I took it on my cameraphone so the full-size is only 640x480 (acessible if you click on the image in this post and then click on the image on the resulting page).

Sorry.

By the way, did that photo have a Multiply watermark in the lower-right? (I think I've changed it now, but it might still be there.) They might be adding it to hot-linked images (eg. this image when it appears in an email-alert)
